Services Salesperson

Abtech is looking for Services Salespeople to develop new business development for enterprise-class computer support, consulting, and data center services.

The successful candidate will have had a minimum of three years of enterprise level managed services or break/fix maintenance service sales. Candidates should have a proven track record of achieving sales goals and is comfortable with developing an account base, establishing relationships and closing viable business opportunities.

Additional job requirements:

College degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
Other RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, Informix.) - Remote sys admin services (Unix)
HP 9000/3000 experience. Strong HP-UX and MPE/iX, EVA background.
A deep understanding of these technologies and how they relate to a business’s needs.
A closer with C-Level customer contacts – and ability to tap warm market.
Local – L.A. to S.D. preferred – and a strong communicator.
Self motivated / highly driven
Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
Ability to travel locally

Job responsibilities include:

New business development via cold calling and website lead generation.
Closing business to hit targets.
Account management for newly created accounts.
Work with partners/team to manage sales solutions.

Customer Engineer - San Diego

Abtech is seeking a Customer Engineer to service clients out of Abtech's Carlsbad headquarters. The candidate will provide on-call hardware support for businesses with midrange servers, workstations & peripherals. Minimum 3 years experience in field service. Strong knowledge of HP900 and HP3000 hardware is required, as well as advanced troubleshooting skills and HP-UX & MPE/iX operating system experience.
