Abtech has been supporting my HP3000s for at least the past eight years. I have nothing but praise for them. Prior to that, we contracted H.P. directly. The main difference with Abtech is their response time and background with the 3000s. I have NEVER experienced a response time of more than 20 minutes on a software call; and more often than not, I am transferred directly to their response team.
They do a great job with hardware support as well, and always arrive, in a timely fashion, stocked with the necessary parts. I am not certain if all the techs were previously employed by H.P.; but, the ones that service my account were, and therefore are very knowledgeable on the hardware side.
As far as software support is concerned, Abtech's lead MPE engineer is their "Guru". You can pretty much run anything by him, and he will work out a solution. Thankfully for me, he has responded to 99% of my calls; and will do whatever it takes to get you up and running - 24/7.
In my opinion, Abtech's 24/7 response is really the key to keeping my business. I have never been told, by Abtech, that my service request would not be handled immediately because I was calling outside my Mon. - Fri. 8:00am to 5:00pm contract.
For me, continuing my relationship with Abtech is a no-brainer. I never have to worry about getting timely and knowledgeable response.
